Marketa Irglova and Glen Hansard will reunite next March for their first tour together since 2011. The six-date March 2022 tour comes in celebration of the 15th anniversary of Once, a 2007 film the pair starred in which features their music.
Irglova and Hansard, who played together before and after the film as The Swell Season, spent the last decade focusing on their respective solo careers. Each show in March will feature songs from The Swell Season, Once and their solo efforts.
The brief trek will start at Minneapolis’ State Theater on March 11, 2022. Marketa and Glen then head to Chicago on March 12 before a run in the Northeast consisting of dates in Philadelphia on March 14, Boston on March 15 and New York City on March 17. Irglova and Hansard close out the tour at The Anthem in Washington D.C. on March 18.
