Today, Strand of Oaks (Timothy Showalter) released an acoustic version of “Galacticana” as well as an accompanying video for unplugged rendition. “Galacticana” is the lead single and opening track from Strand Of Oaks’ 2021 studio album, In Heaven, which arrived via Galacticana Records / Thirty Tigers on October 1.
The acoustic “Galacticana” kicks off a series of stripped-down In Heaven tunes due from Strand Of Oaks. “This entire record was written on my spirit guitar,” Showalter wrote as part of a note posted to the band’s social media accounts. “We have held each other for more hours than I can count. I’m so excited to share the songs at their very core of existence.”
