Aoife O’Donovan was accompanied by Allison Russell for a performance of “Prodigal Daughter” backstage at the Newport Folk Festival. The collaboration was captured for a video recently shared on Newport Folk Festival’s YouTube channel.
O’Donovan wrote “Prodigal Daughter” with Tim O’Brien. Russell contributed to the recently released studio version featured on Aoife’s forthcoming Age Of Apathy album.
Age Of Apathy arrives via Yep Roc Records on January 21, 2022. Drummer Jay Bellerose and bassist David Piltch are featured on the 11-track LP, which was produced by Joe Henry.
