Adia Victoria played songs from her recently released album, A Southern Gothic, for Nashville radio station Lightning 100. The Nashville-based singer-songwriter’s solo performance featured the A Southern Gothic single, “Magnolia Blues,” and fellow album track “My Oh My.”
Playing acoustic guitar, Victoria started with “My Oh My,” whose album version featured special guest Stone Jack Jones. The session at Lightning 100’s Volume.com studio included host Dan Buckley chatting with Victoria about the album, as well her blues-centric podcast Call & Response, and more. The set ended with a stripped-down rendition of “Magnolia Blues.”
