Dr. Dog Announces Final Concert Livestream On New Year’s Eve

95

Dr. Dog will livestream their final concert taking place on New Year’s Eve in their hometown of Philadelphia. The band will stream from Philly’s Union Transfer beginning at 10:30 p.m. ET/7:30 p.m. PT via nugs.net.

Dr. Dog announced a “graceful exit from touring” earlier this year. The rockers’ The Last Tour got going in Summer 2021 and continued through the fall. The band kicked off their farewell New Year’s run at The Fillmore Philadelphia on December 27, which was livestreamed, followed by an evening at Philly’s Theatre of the Living Arts on December 29. Dr. Dog launches their two-night run at Union Transfer tonight with their final concert set to livestream tomorrow.

“Things happen fast these days,” the band wrote in a social media post detailing the NYE lievstream. “Since our Livestream from the Fillmore on Monday, we’ve had many requests to livestream our NYE show at Union Transfer. We had not planned on it, but we’re doing it.”
