Galactic‘s traditional New Year’s Eve concert at Tipitina’s will be featured in a nugs.net livestream. The broadcast airs live from New Orleans starting at 10 p.m. ET/7 p.m. PT on December 31.
The hometown band, who purchased Tipitina’s in 2018, will be augmented by vocalist Anjelika ‘Jelly’ Joseph. Galactic New Year’s Eve performances at Tip’s have been an annual event since 2004. While the pandemic precluded the band from performing a full-scale concert at the venue to end 2020, Galactic curated and headlined a livestream event dubbed NYE In NOLA.
