Spoon canceled their New Year’s Eve concert in Austin, Texas due to COVID-19. The show was set to take place at ACL Live At The Moody Theater on December 31 with support from John Doe Folk Trio and Sweet Spirit.
“We’re beyond bummed to report that due to COVID cases amongst artists on the bill as well as the extremely sharp rise in COVID cases in the Austin community, we’ve made the difficult decision to cancel the New Year’s Eve show at ACL Live,” the band wrote in a social media post. Spoon also shared refund information and the possibility of spring dates.
