The String Cheese Incident confirmed they will move forward with their upcoming three-night New Year’s Run in Chicago on December 30, December 31 (New Year’s Eve) and January 1 (New Year’s Day). The band also laid out COVID-19 policies put in place by The Auditorium Theatre.
The venue will require proof of vaccination to enter each show. Ticketholders who haven’t been vaccinated can display proof of a negative COVID-19 PCR test taken within 72 hours of the performance start time or a negative COVID-19 antigen test taken within six hours of the performance start time to gain entry. Additionally, concertgoers will need to wear a mask at all times.
“We have actively been monitoring the current live music situation with absolute respect for the safety of everyone involved. We have decided to proceed and play our scheduled NYE run in Chicago,” wrote the band in a note on social feeds providing a Chicago NYE Update. “If you are attending please be safe and respectful. We will see you on the 30th,” added Cheese after detailing the protocols for the shows.
