Blue Ox Music Festival will return to Eau Claire, WI in 2022 with a lineup headed by Old Crow Medicine Show and Béla Fleck: My Bluegrass Heart featuring Michael Cleveland, Sierra Hull, Justin Moses, Mark Schatz, and Bryan Sutton. The Pines Music Park will serve as the home for Blue Ox when arrives for its eighth year on June 23rd–25th.
On top of festival host band Pert Near Sandstone performing two nights, the festival will also feature sets from Railroad Earth, Sam Bush Band, Punch Brothers, Del McCoury Band, Paul Cauthen, Samantha Fish, Joseph, Horseshoes & Hand Grenades, Fruition, Cedric Burnside, Daniel Donato, Tejon Street Corner Thieves, Them Coulee Boys, Riddy Arman, Rumpke Mountain Boys, The Okee Dokee Brothers, Armchair Boogie, Fireside Collective, Chicken Wire Empire, Mae Simpson, Good Morning Bedlam, Ryan Necci and the Buffalo Gospel, Erik Koskinen, Humbird, The Pistol Whippin’ Party Penguins, Dig Deep, and Laney Lou & The Bird Dogs.
In addition to celebrating the extraordinary talent of traditional bluegrass and roots music legends, Blue Ox will preserve the essential quality of intimacy by limiting tickets to 5,000. The festival will feature three stages across the 155-acre Pines Music Park, which also boasts walkable trails and an array of cultural events including music workshops, morning yoga and meditation, eclectic arts and craft vendors, kids activity stages, disc golf, and more.
Blue Ox offers a variety of three-day and two-day general admission passes starting at $199. Children under 13 will receive free entry.
