The initial Bristol Rhythm & Roots Reunion 2022 lineup features JJ Grey & Mofro, Rosanne Cash, Jerry Douglas Band and dozens more. Held in Historic Downtown Bristol, Tennessee-Virginia, the event will host over 100 acts on more than a dozen indoor and outdoor stages on September 9 – 11.
Briston Maroney, Donna The Buffalo, Katie Pruitt, 49 Winchester, Ralph Stanley II And The Clinch Mountain Boys, Dallas Wayne and Caitlin Krisko And The Broadcast are among other acts set to perform at Bristol Rhythm & Roots Reunion 2022. Additional lineup announcements are forthcoming.
“We are thrilled that JJ Grey & Mofro and Rosanne Cash are among our headliners this year,” stated Leah Ross, the executive director of advancement for event organizers the Birthplace of Country Music. “Rosanne’s participation is especially significant as we recognize the 95th anniversary of the 1927 Bristol Sessions, which her father Johnny Cash named ‘the single most important event in the history of country music.’”
