Broken Social Scene shared the single, “Curse Your Fail.” The song will appear on the Toronto-based collective’s forthcoming compilation, Old Dead Young: B-Sides & Rarities, set for release via Arts & Crafts on January 14.
BSS announced Old Dead Young: B-Sides & Rarities in December and shared “This House Is On Fire” from the sessions for their 2010 album Forgiveness Rock Record. As the title suggestsOld Dead Young: B-Sides & Rarities also boasts songs from obscure releases including the aformentioned single “Curse Your Fail,” which originally appeared on a tour 7-inch paired with The Sea and Cake’s “Skies” from 2009. Broken Social Scene co-founders Kevin Drew and Brendan Canning penned “Curse Your Fail” along with longtime BSS member Justin Peroff.
