Dark Star Orchestra announced the Dark Star Jubilee 2022 lineup. The music festival headlined by the Grateful Dead tribute act and hosted with All Good Presents returns to Legend Valley in Thornville, Ohio over Memorial Day Weekend, May 27 – 29 in full-scale form after a two-year hiatus due to the pandemic.
Acts joining DSO in playing the event include Railroad Earth with Peter Rowan performing Old And In The Way, Yonder Mountain String Band, Melvin Seals & JGB, Galactic featuring Anjelika “Jelly” Joseph, Keller Williams’ Grateful Grass and more. Dark Star Orchestra will treat fans to six sets over the course of Dark Star Jubilee 2022. Former DSO guitarist John Kadlecik will perform with Melvin Seals & JGB.
“We are thrilled to be in the artist announcement and planning phase for the 9th Dark Star Jubilee,” explained All Good Presents’ Tim Walther in a press release. “We figure since we lost two years to Covid, that this year will be three times the fun. We are going to pull out all of the stops!”
