Colorado’s Drunken Hearts will host the “Music For Marshall: A Boulder County Fire Benefit” concert featuring members of The String Cheese Incident, The Motet and more. The show will take place on Friday, February 4 at the Boulder Theater in Boulder, Colorado.
Billed as Drunken Hearts & Friends, the concert — benefitting fire relief funds set up by the Community Foundation Boulder County and Conscious Alliance — will feature very special guests Bill Nershi of The String Cheese Incident and his wife Jilian Nershi as well as The Motet’s Dave Watts and Boulder Lifestyle Magazine founder and musician Andy Manz. Both Dave and Andy lost everything to the devastating Marshall Fire which ravaged Boulder County in late December.
Additional special guests include Andy Thorn (Leftover Salmon), Jason Hann (The String Cheese Incident), Charlie Rose (Elephant Revival), Silas Herman, Shawn Eckels, Arthur Lee Land and Michael Kirkpatrick. Buffalo Commons, Pick & Howl, Annabel Lukins Stelling and a very special guest emcee are also slated to appear.
Presented by 105.5 The Colorado Sound, Avery Brewing Company and Jack Daniel’s, “Music For Marshall: A Boulder County Fire Benefit” also boasts a poster from Add Noise Studios (see below) which will be available for purchase at the show. Additionally, Conscious Alliance will conduct a silent auction with items from SCI, Greensky Bluegrass, Leftover Salmon, Elephant Revival, Planet Bluegrass, WinterWonderGrass, YarmonyGrass, The Infamous Stringdusters, The Lil Smokies, Kitchen Dwellers, Jack Daniel’s and more. Music industry mental health nonprofit Backline will also be on hand to offer mental health resources for music industry workers affected by the fire.
