Fitz & The Tantrums will join forces with St. Paul and The Broken Bones for 20 co-headlining 2022 Summer Tour dates. The run spans June 1-25 with Seratones opening the first leg and Devon Gilfillian serving as support for the second leg.
The Los Angeles-based Fitz & The Tantrums are currently prepping material for the follow-up to 2019’s All The Feels. “We’re so excited to hit the road again. More than ever, we appreciate the awesome power of live music and the joy that it brings,” stated Fitz & The Tantrums frontman Michael “Fitz” Fitzpatrick. “We can’t wait to sing, dance, and celebrate with all of you.”
Birmingham, Alabama’s St. Paul & The Broken Bones will release a new studio album entitled The Alien Coast through ATO Records on January 28. The trek adds to a busy start to 2022 for the octet that includes dozens of shows leading into June.
Fitz & The Tantrums and St. Paul & The Broken Bones kick off the tour at Rabbit Rabbit in Asheville, North Carolina on June 1. From there the groups and Seratones hit Nashville on June 3; Wilmington, North Carolina on June 4; Doswell, Virginia on June 5; Shelburne, Vermont on June 7; Portland, Maine on June 8; New Haven, Connecticut on June 10; Asbury Park, New Jersey on June 11 and Bethlehem, Pennsylvania on June 12.
Devon Gilfillian starts serving as opener for the two bands at CMAC in Canandaigua, New York on June 14. The tour then hits Cleveland on June 15, Kettering (Ohio) on June 17, Indianapolis on June 18, Kansas City on June 21 and Rogers (Arkansas) on June 23. Iowa hosts the final two concerts of the run with shows planned for Des Moines on June 24 and Council Bluffs on June 25.
Tickets for Fitz & The Tantrums’ co-headlining tour with St. Paul & The Broken Bones go up for grabs to the general public this Friday, January 21 at 10 a.m. local time.
