Ghost Light Cancels Winter Tour 2022 Due To COVID-19

Ghost Light canceled their eight-date Winter Tour 2022 originally scheduled for January 20-29. The quintet’s first tour since January 2020 has been axed in the wake of COVID-19 cases spiking.

“We’ve agonized over this decision and have tried to find every possible way to play this tour in a safe and sustainable way, but the reality is that doing a club tour in a van during a pandemic comes with a massive amount of risk, unpredictability and difficult logistics,” noted Ghost Light in announcing the news on the band’s social feeds. “With this in mind and out of concern for the health and well being of the band, our families and our fans, we’ve made the decision to cancel the first eight dates of our tour.”

Ghost Light are now expected to return to the road for a spring tour in March and April featuring stops in California, Washington, Oregon and Colorado. The band consisting of guitarists/vocalists Raina Mullen and Tom Hamilton, keyboardist Holly Bowling, bassist Dan Africano and drummer Scott Zwang was supposed to play Washington D.C., New York City, Philadelphia, Fairfield (Connecticut), Pittsburgh, Harrisburg (Pennsylvania), Albany and Cambridge (Massachusetts) later this month.

Refunds for January tour dates will be processed automatically within 14 days. Find the full note from Ghost Light below:
