Kanye West (Ye) takes a shot at comedian Pete Davidson in his latest single, “Eazy”. Produced by Hit-Boy, the track sees West join forces with Compton, CA’s The Game.
Ye touches on a variety of topical subjects throughout “Eazy”, out now via 100 Entertainment, Inc. After The Game’s opening verse and the titular refrain, “My life was never easy,” West launches into a long string of bars. In addition to exclaiming, “God saved me from that crash/Just so I can beat Pete Davidson’s ass,” Ye makes reference to his mental health, which has long been a topic of conversation surrounding the controversial musician and billionaire entrepreneur.
“Mr. Narcissist,” tell me ’bout my arrogance/No more counselin’, I don’t negotiate with therapists/God Ye, wanna let God in?/But tonight, I guess I’ll let my pride win,” says West before finding a foothold in lyrics about his ongoing divorce from Kim Kardashian and the parental differences between him and the mother of his four children.
“We havin’ the best divorce ever/If we go to court, we’ll go to court together/Matter of fact, pick up your sis, we’ll go to Kourt’s together,” Kanye raps before calling out her parental skills, “When you give ’em everything, they only want more/Boujee and unruly, y’all need to do some chores/Rich ass kids, this ain’t yo mama house/Climb on your brother’s shoulders, get that Top Ramen out.”

Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival recently announced West as the day three headliner when the event takes place at Indio, CA’s Empire Polo Club on April 15th–17th and again on April 22nd–24th.
