Kikagaku Moyo announced details of their 2022 Fall Tour dates, along with their final concert in North America. The news came one week after the Tokyo-based quintet revealed they will breakup at the end of 2022 following multiple tours as well as the release of a studio album.
Last week’s announcement included word a fall tour was in the works. Kikagaku Moyo made good by confirming 11 dates focused on the West Coast, as well as the North American finale in Brooklyn, and promised additional shows will be added soon.
The trek begins in Colorado with concerts in Boulder on September 14 and Denver on September 15. The psych-rock band then heads to Texas for shows in Dallas and Austin before a performance in Phoenix. Next comes a trip to California featuring stops in Solana Beach, Los Angeles and Santa Ana. From there Kikagaku Moyo makes their way to the Pacific Northwest to end the month with concerts in Portland, Seattle and Vancouver.
Brooklyn Steel in New York City will host Kikagaku Moyo’s last show in North America on October 6. Tickets for the new tour dates go on sale tomorrow (Friday, January 28) at 12 p.m. local time. The band starts a spring tour of North America in Toronto on May 11.
