66

Rage Against The Machine has officially postponed the first leg of its upcoming Public Service Announcement Tour. The North American summer tour will now begin on July 9th at Alpine Valley in East Troy, WI.

This news comes after RATM dropped off the Coachella Valley Music And Arts Festival lineup for April 2022. Boston Calling also confirmed on Thursday that the band will drop off the festival lineup, scheduled for May 27th–29th. In its announcement, Rage Against The Machine stated that “headline shows scheduled for March 31, 2022 through May 23, 2022 will be postponed and rescheduled.”

Fans who wish to obtain refunds can do so through the point of purchase within a 30-day window beginning on January 20th. All tickets for the moved dates will be honored. The band noted that it will return soon with rerouted dates.

This comes as the latest postponement for the highly anticipated Rage Against The Machine reunion tour, first announced in February 2020. The summer tour was postponed to the following summer as the COVID situation worsened around the world. The band was set to perform for the first time since 2011 at Coachella this coming spring, but dropped off the festival shortly before the lineup was announced last week.
