Spoon Details 2022 ‘Lucifer On The Sofa Tour’, Shares New Single, “Wild” [Watch]

Spoon on Thursday detailed a 2022 tour in support of its forthcoming album, Lucifer on the Sofa, due out February 11th via Matador Records. This announcement arrived just two days after the band released its latest single and music video for “Wild”.

Joined by Margaret Glaspy and Geese on select dates, the Austin-based indie rock quintet will kick off its tour on April 6th at Boston, MA’s House of Blues, followed by a stop at New Haven, CT’s College Street Music Hall on the 8th. From there Spoon will head south for shows at The National in Richmond, VA (4/9); 9:30 Club in Washington, D.C. (4/11); The Fillmore Philadelphia in Philadelphia, PA (4/15); and Hammerstein Ballroom in New York, NY (4/18). Frontman Britt Daniel will then lead the outfit through a tour of the Midwest with stops in Detroit, MI (4/18); Chicago, IL (4/19); St. Paul, MN (4/22); Milwaukee, WI (4/23); and Columbia, MO (4/25).

After wrapping up April with a performance at Wilmington, NC’s Greenfield Lake Amphitheatre (4/28), Spoon will charge into May by heading west to Denver, CO’s Mission Ballroom (5/24); Salt Lake City, UT’s The Complex (5/25); and Solana Beach, CA’s Belly Up (5/31). The Lucifer on the Sofa Tour will then conclude with appearances at Palladium in Los Angeles, CA (6/2); The Rialto Theatre in Tucson, AZ (6/3); and The Van Buren in Phoenix, AZ (6/4).

Spoon’s impending album, Lucifer on the Sofa, is available to pre-order now.
