The Avett Brothers announced seven new 2022 tour dates. Concerts in April, May, June and August are the latest additions to the band’s itinerary as is a rescheduled date for a show originally slated for New Year’s Eve that was postponed due to COVID-19.
Greensboro Coliseum Complex in Greensboro, North Carolina will now host The Avett Brothers on March 19. Tickets for a show initially scheduled for December 31, 2021 (New Year’s Eve) will be honored on the new date. Fans holding New Year’s Eve tickets who cannot make it to Greensboro on March 19 are asked to contact point of purchase. Additional tickets are on sale now via Ticketmaster.
The Avett Brothers will play the first of the new concerts at Tuscaloosa Amphitheater in Tuscaloosa, Alabama on April 30. From there the group heads to Texas for a run that includes just announced shows in Houston on May 3 and Grand Prairie on May 5. Seth Avett and Scott Avett also confirmed they’ll bring the band to Cleveland’s Jacobs Pavilion at Nautica on June 10, Detroit’s The Cathedral Theatre on August 18, Pittsburgh’s Stage AE on August 19 and Indianapolis’ MacAllister Amphitheater at Garfield Park on August 21. The Indianapolis date comes in addition to a previously announced play at the venue on August 20.
Public on-sales for the new Avett Brothers 2022 tour dates will begin this Friday, January 21. Members of The Avett Guild fan club can purchase tickets via a pre-sale starting tomorrow (Wednesday, January 19) at 12 p.m. local time.
