The Head and the Heart will issue a new album, Every Shade Of Blue, on April 29 via Reprise/Warner Records. The Seattle-based folk-rockers also shared the title track as the lead single.
Every Shade Of Blue is The Head And The Heart’s fifth studio album and follows their 2019 studio LP, Living Mirage. The Seattle-bred band also shared a live record and concert film, Rivers And Roads: The Head And The Heart – Live From Pike Place Market, in early 2021 followed by a cover of CSNY’s “Our House.” More recently, the band prefaced the Every Shade Of Blue album announcement by mapping out a 2022 North American tour of the same name.
Fresh on the heels of the tour announcement, The Head And The Heart released a statement detailing Every Shade Of Blue:
Every Shade Of Blue conveys a spectrum of emotions and how we live with them. The closer we get the more shades we see. The more shades we see the more responsibility we hold. We all want to feel loved and protected. The question is will we be supported and seen by the ones we love In Every Shade Of Blue.
