Bruce Hornsby rolled out pro-shot video featuring a “The End Of The Innocence” performance from his Deep South Solo Tour this past November. Hornsby previously shared “Meds” from the run and will release a new clip every other day until the eight-song series concludes.
“The End Of The Innocence” was co-written by Bruce Hornsby and Don Henley. Hornsby contributed piano and additional keyboards to the version featured on Henley’s 1989 studio album of the same name. “The End Of The Innocence” scored Grammy nominations for Record Of The Year and Song Of The Year.
Bruce Hornsby worked his instrumental “Song A” and a piece from Keith Jarrett’s 1978 Sun Bear Concerts compilation into his extended “The End Of The Innocence” performance featured below. See how it turned out:
