Blitzen Trapper announced details for their 2022 tour dates. The 25-date spring run comes in support of Holy Smokes Future Jokes, an album released through Yep Roc Records in 2020.
“So glad to be cautiously getting back on the road to finally play Holy Smokes!,” said Blitzen Trapper frontman Eric Earley. “These songs still mean the world to me, and it will be fantastic to finally share them with fans. So I want to see everybody out there being smart and safe to enjoy the music because we love you all.”
The Portland, Oregon-based band will start the tour with a hometown show at Revolution Hall on April 22. Next up are concerts in Seattle on April 23 and Eugene, Oregon on April 24. Blitzen Trappen then focuses on California with dates in Arcata on April 25, Novato on April 26, San Francisco on April 27, Los Angeles on April 28, San Diego on April 29, Pioneertown on April 30, San Juan Capistrano on May 1, Santa Barbara on May 3, Carmel-By-The-Sea on May 5 and Sacramento on May 6. The first leg of the excursion ends in Reno, Nevada on May 7.
Blitzen Trapper resumes the jaunt following a month off at The Wilma in Missoula, Montana on June 15. From there the band will stick in Montana for shows in Helena on June 15, Bozeman on June 16 and Billings on June 17. A run through Colorado comes next featuring stops in Fort Collins on June 18, Denver on June 19 and Telluride on June 21. Eric Earley and company then head to Park City, Utah for a three-night stand spanning June 22 – 24 before concluding the tour with concerts in Ketchum, Idaho on June 25; Jackson, Wyoming on June 27 and Boise, Idaho on June 28.
General onsales for tickets to see Blitzen Trapper in 2022 begin on Friday, February 11 at 10 a.m. local time. Dead Lee opens the first leg with Laney Jones serving as support on the second leg.
