Citizen Cope, the nom de plume of singer-songwriter Clarence Greenwood, expanded his 20th Anniversary Tour with the addition of spring dates. The new leg features shows across North America spanning April 14 – May 21.
Cope will perform material spanning his complete two-decade career each night. The spring tour begins at the Varsity Theatre in Minneapolis on April 14. Additional dates follow in Chicago (April 15), Cleveland (April 16), Athens (April 18) and New Orleans (April 19) before a swing through Texas including stops in Houston (April 21), Austin (April 22), Dallas (April 23) and San Antonio (April 24).
The tour rolls on to Tulsa, Oklahoma (April 25) and Lincoln, Nebraska (April 27) ahead of a previously announced two-night stand at Red Rocks in Morrison, Colorado with Trevor Hall (April 28, 29). Citizen Cope then hits Salt Lake City (April 30) and Phoenix (May 2). A trip to California follows with stops in San Diego (May 3), Pioneertown (May 4), Anaheim (May 5), Los Angeles (May 6), Ventura (May 7), San Francisco (May 8) and Petaluma (May 10). The excursion ends in the Pacific Northwest with concerts in Washington, British Columbia, Montana and Idaho.
Tickets for Citizen Cope’s spring tour will be available to the general public beginning at 10 a.m. local time this Friday, February 11. Greenwood is currently in Florida finishing off the first leg of the run.
