Circles Around the Sun bassist Dan Horne shared a new single, “Ode To The Road.” The song follows Horne’s debut solo record, The Motorcycle EP, which arrived in 2021.
The multi-talented Dan Horne, who also plays bass with Grateful Shred and produces artists like Cass McCombs, Allah-Las and Mapache, recorded “Ode To The Road” at his Liberty Hair Farm studio. Dan played nearly every instrument himself, including pedal steel guitar, save for Luke Clebsch laying down harmonica.
“‘Ode to the Road’ was conceived while stuck at home reminiscing about tour when everything was canceled,” Horne said. “The best thing about tour is friends, the people you meet, the connections you make and the places you get to experience playing music. We all missed that so much and are ready to get back on the road.”
