Dr. Dre has shared six new singles featuring a variety of lauded hip-hop mainstays, including Eminem, Snoop Dogg, Anderson .Paak, the late Nipsey Hussle, and more. The songs were produced for Grand Theft Auto Online‘s “The Contract” DLC (downloadable content) package and mark Dre’s first solo releases since his 2015 album, Compton.
Back in December, Rockstar Games—the studio responsible for the Grand Theft Auto video game franchise—shared a trailer for its new downloadable content package for the online component of Grand Theft Auto V. The trailer prominently featured Dre and .Paak as pivotal character’s in the game’s storyline. Upon its release, six new Dr. Dre collabs made it onto the game’s radio stations, however, they never saw an official studio release.
Dre has now added all six tracks from “The Contract” to streaming platforms worldwide. These include “Gospel” featuring Eminem; “ETA” featuring Snoop Dogg, Busta Rhymes, and Anderson .Paak; “The Scenic Route” featuring Rick Ross and Anderson .Paak; “Diamon Mind” featuring Nipsey Hussle and Ty Dolla $ign; “Fallin Up” featuring Thurz and Cocoa Sarai; and “Black Privilege”. From the technical raps on “Gospel” to the more jazzy production on “The Scenic Route” to the headstrong bars on “Black Privilege”, each song takes on a unique feel and showcases Dre’s ability to channel a wide array of influences in his sound.

On Sunday, February 13th, Dr. Dre will headline the Pepsi Super Bowl LVI Halftime Show at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, CA. Also on the billing are two of the GTA collaborators, Snoop Dogg and Eminem, as well as Mary J. Blige and Kendrick Lamar. Fans can watch on NBC, Peacock, the NBC Sports app, and NBCSports.com.
