Garage A Trois recently delivered a Live On KEXP performance for the Seattle radio station. The renowned imrpvisational supergroup performed a cut from their first album in 22 years with the original lineup, 2021’s Calm Down Cologne, and more.
The original Garage A Trois lineup is Galactic drummer Stanton Moore, guitarist Charlie Hunter and saxophonist Skerik. OG GAT opened with the title track to Calm Down Cologne for their KEXP appearance in Skerik’s native Seattle, recorded on December 17, 2021, when the band was in town for a three-night stand in the Emerald City. The trio also delivered “Improv 666″ and “Etienne,” the latter off their 2005 LP Outre Mer. Garage A Trois closed their KEXP performance with “Wizard Sleeve.” The band also chatted with host Darek Mazzone after the music.
