Ben Harper and The Innocent Criminals, Lettuce and Liz Cooper top the 2022 lineup for the inaugural Mill Valley Music Festival. The one-day event will take place on Saturday, May 7 at Friends Field in Mill Valley, California.
Also set to perform are Los Amigos Invisibles and La Doña. Presented by the Mill Valley Chamber of Commerce, chamber director Jim Welte detailed the brand new festival in a statement:
There’s no doubt that these past few years have been incredibly rough for all of us. We can’t wait to celebrate the resilience of Mill Valley, Marin County, and the entire Bay Area, and the vital role the Bay plays in the vibrancy of the Golden State – all set to an amazing, day-long soundtrack of fantastic music and an abundance of incredible food, drink, and art while spending an afternoon with your best friends and ones you’ve yet to meet.
A portion of the proceeds from the festival will aid local institutions including Kiddo! Mill Valley Schools Community Foundation, City of Mill Valley’s Public Art Program and more.
Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. PT on Friday, February 18.
