Maynard James Keenan will take his experimental alt-rock group Puscifer across the continental United States in 2022 for its first tour in six years. The band will bring its live show around the country in support of its 2020 Existential Reckoning album.
The tour will begin in Las Vegas, NV on June 9th and include 22 performances over a four-week stretch. Keenan and his fellow members Carina Round and Mat Mitchell will then work through Phoenix, AZ (6/11); Los Angeles, CA (6/12); Albuquerque, NM (6/14); Austin, TX (6/15); and Dallas, TX (6/16) on their way to Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival (6/19) that will also see Maynard headline with his main project TOOL.
Following the band’s only festival appearance during the run of shows, Puscifer will traverse the East Coast, hitting markets like Atlanta, GA (6/21); Philadelphia, PA (6/24); Brooklyn, NY (6/25); Boston, MA (6/28); and Pittsburgh, PA (6/29). A jaunt through the Midwest will send the group out to Denver, CO’s Mission Ballroom on July 6th for finishing with performances in Salt Lake City, UT (7/7); Portland, OR (7/9); and Seattle, WA (7/10).
Noted a press release, “Pusciforce Agents Merkin [Keenan’s alter ego], Round, and Mitchell have intercepted a coded message, which appears to be extraterrestrial in nature, emanating from the mysterious and elusive Briefcase, that translates as follows: ‘An Existential Reckoning is imminent.’”
