Sound On Sound is a new music festival featuring a 2022 lineup that includes Dave Matthews and Tim Reynolds, The Lumineers, Stevie Nicks and many others. The inaugural two-day event put together by Governors Ball organizers Founders Entertainment with Live Nation Connecticut and Hartford HealthCare Amphitheater will be held at Seaside Park in Bridgeport, Connecticut on September 24 and 25.
Other Sound On Sound 2022 performers include Brandi Carlile, The National, Father John Misty, Ziggy Marley, Gary Clark Jr., Black Pumas, The Head and the Heart, Caamp, Zach Bryan, Band of Horses, Spin Doctors, Jenny Lewis, Noah Kahan and Trampled by Turtles. Seaside Park, which was designed by Frederick Law Olmstead (Central Park), will take place at the longtime home of Gathering Of The Vibes.
Two-Day General Admission tickets will be available to the general public starting this Friday, February 18 at 12 p.m. ET. The new festival will feature no overlapping set times for performances set to go down on two different stages so fans can watch every note. “It’s been a goal of ours to introduce a world class musical festival to Connecticut; the place where I grew up and where co-founder Tom Russell and I spent our high school years together,” explained Founders Entertainment’s Jordan Wolowitz. “Sound On Sound is a two-day event that we’ve curated for a community that we personally feel so close to. As a Connecticut resident myself, I am proud to present a festival that celebrates exceptional music, hand-selected local food and libations, and outdoor fun spent at the beautiful Seaside Park.”

In addition to the music, Sound On Sound will feature hyper-local food and beverage options as well as activities for festivalgoers including a Craft Beer & Sports Hall.
