The War On Drugs added 21 new tour dates in North America to their current 2022 World Tour in support of I Don’t Live Here Anymore. Bandleader Adam Granduciel and his bandmates confirmed five additional spring concerts, an August show in Toronto and a leg that includes dates from September 10 to October 11.
On May 26, The War On Drugs will play the first of the new dates in Old Forester’s Paristown Hall in Louisville. Next up are just-announced shows in Charlottesville, Virginia (May 28); Baltimore (May 29); Norfolk, Virginia (May 30) and New Orleans (June 2). The band’s Toronto concert comes at Echo Beach on August 28.
Granduciel and company return to the road on September 10 at College Street Music Hall in New Haven, Connecticut. The War On Drugs will then make stops in Cooperstown, New York (September 11); Portland, Maine (September 12); Morrison, Colorado (September 19); Oklahoma City (September 21); Memphis (September 24); Birmingham, Alabama (September 26); Knoxville, Tennessee (September 27); Wilmington, North Carolina (September 29) and Charleston, South Carolina (September 30) over the rest of the month. October starts with a swing through Florida for shows in Fort Lauderdale (October 3), Orlando (October 4), Tampa (October 5) and St. Augustine (October 6). The tour is currently set to conclude at San Diego’s Open Air Theater on October 11.
Tickets for the 21 new dates go on sale this Friday, February 25 at 10 a.m. local venue time.
