Twiddle released the new studio single “The Devil” today. Blues Traveler frontman John Popper contributed harmonica to the never-before-heard track.

“The Devil” was recorded at Sugarworks Soundhouse in Waitsfield, Vermont. Clint Bierman produced the single which was co-engineered by Roger Strauss and Samuel Johnson. Twiddle previously joined forces with John Popper for a collaborative set at LOCKN’ in 2019.

“In all my years of joyous association with Twiddle, they consistently surprise me to the point that I have come to expect to be surprised, which though oxymoronically counterintuitive as one reads this, remains nonetheless the fact of the matter and what makes the band such a delicious paradox,” noted John Popper. “I feel more than kindred with the spirit of this band, I feel a pride in our work together that I am honored to lay some claim to…(though the credit is more theirs than mine)…This song is no different, and is a perfect example of this phenomenon.”

“Life is really tough and riddled with the highest of highs and lowest of lows, ignoring how you feel is never the right answer,” explained Twiddle frontman Mihali Savoulidis regarding the band’s new single. “I wrote this song with the hope that more people will stand up and confront their problems and ultimately live a happier life.”

Twiddle recently confirmed an extensive spring tour. Additionally, the band made up their postponed New Year’s Eve concert this past Saturday night in Worcester, Massachusetts. The Vermont-based quartet presented live debuts of new originals “Breakadidown” and “Tutles” during the three-set show.
