Umphrey’s McGee wrapped up a two-night run at ExploreAsheville.Com Arena in Asheville, North Carolina on Saturday marking the band’s last show for a few weeks. UM welcomed frequent collaborator and Doom Flamingo vocalist Kanika Moore for the Paul McCartney & Wings classic “Live And Let Die.”

The show got underway with a pairing of vintage tunes “August” and “Ringo,” the latter form the Al Baba’s Tahini catalog. “Breaker” followed ahead of intrumental “Atmosfarag” and “Seasons.” A pairing of “Resolution” and the conclusion of “All In Time” from the night previous closed out the first set.

Classic “Hurt Bird Bath” launched the second frame. “Women Wine And Song” then led into “Slacker.” Next, Instrumental “The Triple Wide” proceeded a bust out of DJ Zebra’s “Come Closer,” a mashup of The Beatles’s “Come Together” and Nine Inch Nails’s “Closer.” UM last performed the cover mashup at Suwannee Hulaween 2019 for a total show gap of 115, as per All Things Umphreys. “The Silent Type” capped of the second set.

UM returned to encore with the McCartney classic, “Live And Let Die,” with bassist Ryan Stasik‘s Doom Flamingo bandmate Kanika Moore lending her powerhouse vocals to the 1973 James Bond theme. Umphrey’s McGee closed out the evening with guest spot cover bust out, last time played on March 9, 2019.
