Watch Phil Cook Perform ‘Queen Of Branches’

Multi-instrumentalist Phil Cook shared a solo piano performance of his original, “Queen Of Branches.” The instrumental song appeared on Cook’s 2021 album, All These Years.

Cook called All These Years “a collection of hymnprovisations on the piano.” Said to be Cook’s “most honest work of [his] career,” the 10-song album was recorded in spring 2021 at NorthStar Church of the Arts in Durham, North Carolina.

The footage of “Queen Of Branches” comes from a livestream that took place earlier this week. The entire live performance featuring Cook playing piano at the Nelson Music Room on Duke University’s East Campus is available via Mandolin through 8 p.m. ET on Saturday, February 5.
