The String Cheese Incident released pro-shot video of “MLT.” The footage comes from SCI’s performance at The Backyard in Austin, Texas on April 13, 2001.
The Kyle Hollingsworth-composed Cheese classic instrumental “MLT” (“My Latin Tune”) appears on the band’s 1998 album ‘Round The Wheel. SCI debuted the song at The Sweetwater in Mill Valley, California on January 8, 1997, as per Friends Of Cheese, not long after Kyle joined the band. “MLT” had already been in heavy rotation for four years when SCI brought it to The Backyard in Austin on April 13, 2001 as evidenced by the tight but exploratory rendition that stretched to over 13 minutes.
