Elton John expanded Farewell Yellow Brick Road Tour with 11 new tour dates in North America. The newly announced concerts are expected to be the last shows in North America tacked on the legendary musician’s final tour. The first of the shows announced today will take place at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey on July 24. Elton also added concerts in Foxborough, Massachusetts on July 27; Toronto on September 8; Charleston, South Carolina on September 13; Santa Clara, California on October 8; Tacoma, Washington on October 16 and 17; Vancouver on October 22; San Diego on November 9; Phoenix on November 11 and Los Angeles on November 17.
Stops in East Rutherford, Foxborough, Toronto, Vancouver, Phoenix and Los Angeles come in addition to previously announced Elton John performances at each venue. The 75-year-old artist’s November 17 concert in Los Angeles will be his first of three nights at Dodger Stadium with the show on November 20 his North American finale.
“This year will see my grand finale in North America, playing stadiums all around the country, with the most spectacular production I’ve ever had. Thank you for sharing this journey with me,” wrote Elton John in a statement. “I cherish these memories we’re making together. It has been nothing short of incredible and I look forward to seeing you very soon one last time, on my Farewell Yellow Brick Road Tour.”
Elton John is expected to conclude his five-year final tour in Stockholm, Sweden on July 8, 2023. The pianist will soon announce additional 2023 tour dates in Australia.
