The National, Mitski, The Roots and many other artists are featured on the Pitchfork Music Festival 2022 lineup. The event will return to Chicago’s Union Park July 15 – 17.
The National will headline the Pitchfork Music Festival on Friday with the first day also seeing performances from Spiritualized, Parquet Courts and more. Mitski tops the bill on Saturday with additional sets from Japanese Breakfast and Lucy Dacus, among others. The Roots will close out the festival on Sunday with help from Toro y Moi, Earl Sweatshirt, Noname, BADBADNOTGOOD and more.
“This year’s lineup is a celebration of the rising indie class, and those who continue to pave the way for innovation,” noted Pitchfork Editor-in-Chief Puja Patel. “Our goal was to highlight a diverse group of artists who are taking their musical genres to new heights, and I’m proud of how it’s come together.”
