Gov’t Mule recently postponed their spring tour after frontman Warren Haynes fractured his scapula while he was on vacation. The trek included two nights at The Beacon Theatre in New York City on April 8 and 9 which will now be held on December 30 and December 31 (New Year’s Eve), respectively.
The quartet’s two-night stand at the historic NYC venue was originally scheduled to end 2021 but was initially postponed due to a spike in COVID-19 cases. Now, the concerts will end 2022. Gov’t Mule has performed New Year’s Eve concerts at The Beacon Theatre every year between 2002 and 2019 except for 2008.
Gov’t Mule has yet to reschedule the rest of the dates for a spring tour that was supposed to span April 6 – 30. The four-piece is expected to return to the road in June. Tickets for the band’s year-ending visit to The Beacon Theatre are on sale now. Links to buy are laid out below:
