Mandy Moore shared a new single, “Four Moons.” The song will land on the singer-songwriter’s upcoming album, In Real Life, due out via Verve Forecast on May 13.
Moore announced In Real Life last month and offered the title track along with her first extended tour dates in over a decade. Moore shared In Real Life single “Little Dreams” earlier in April and now follows with “Four Moons,” which paints a portrait of her relationship with husband Taylor Goldsmith of Dawes:
It’s about caring about someone so much and trying to savor every moment before it slips away to the next—things like our first Christmas together, or a meal we cooked that came out so wrong we just had to laugh about it. It’s asking, ‘Where did all the days go? When did everything start to feel like it was on fast-forward?’, and just wanting to squeeze him and our life together as tight as I can and not let go.
