Tame Impala’s Kevin Parker Joins The Wiggles In Australia

Tame Impala’s Kevin Parker performed with The Wiggles during one of their concerts on Sunday in Perth, Australia. Parker accompanied the band that plays music for kids on Tame Impala’s “Elephant” and The Wiggles’ “Hot Potato.”

The Wiggles covered “Elephant” last year for Australian radio station triple j as part of its “Like A Version” covers series. The Wiggles included the recording on their 2022 double album, ReWiggled, which was made up of covers of The Wiggles songs by other artists and The Wiggles covering some of their favorite songs.

“When I got the invitation I knew it was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity so it was an obvious yes,” Parker said, according to Eventalaide. “The Wiggles are the real rock stars in this world. I was pretty nervous!”
