The Zappa Band announced details of their 2022 June Tour dates. The sextet will hit the road between June 12 – 26 for 11 concerts in the Northeast.
Frank Zappa touring and recording alumni guitarists Mike Keneally and Ray White, multi-instrumentalist Robert Martin and bassist Scott Thunes are joined in The Zappa Band by drummer and “Vaultmeister” Joe Travers and former Zappa Plays Zappa guitarist Jamie Kime. The group will play a previously announced hometown show at the famed Whisky A Go Go in Los Angeles on June 3 before launching the trek.
The Zappa Band kicks off the excursion at Homer, New York’s Center for the Arts of Homer on June 12. From there the six-piece hits Holyoke, Massachusetts (June 14); New York City (June 16); Tarrytown, New York (June 17); Newton, New Jersey (June 18); Alexandria, Virginia (June 19); Annapolis, Maryland (June 21); Ardmore, Pennsylvania (June 22); Fall River, Massachusetts (June 24); Beverly, Massachusetts (June 25) and Plymouth, New Hampshire (June 26).
