Umphrey’s McGee Shares ‘So Much’ Single

Umphrey’s McGee released a new single, “So Much.” The track comes from the band’s forthcoming album, Asking For A Friend.

UM will release their 14th studio album on July 1 through their Nothing Too Fancy Music record label. The band previously shared the single “Small Strides.” Only one of the album’s 14 new songs has been performed live, the prior issued single “I Don’t Know What I Want.”

Umphrey’s McGee recorded Asking For A Friend, which serves as the follow-up to their 2021 instrumental album You Walked Up Shaking In Your Boots But You Stood Tall & Left A Raging Bull, over the past few years at sessions held in Nashville, Chicago and Niles, Michigan. Several songs were composed during the COVID-19 pandemic lockdown.
