Guitarist Joe Marcinek will present two all-star Dead Funk Summit concerts at HVAC Pub in Chicago on Friday, June 24 and Saturday, June 25. Both shows will take place after Dead & Company plays at nearby Wrigley Field.
Each performance will feature a mix of Grateful Dead material and funk classics. The guitarist will be joined by Tal Wilkenfeld, DJ Logic, Shaun Martin (Snarky Puppy), Josh Dion (Paris Monster) Yunus Iyriboz and others at both concerts. Additionally, Marcus Rezak and Freekbass are aboard for Friday, June 25 while Joel Cummins (Umphrey’s McGee) will take part in the concert on Saturday, June 25.
GA and VIP tickets for both shows are on sale now. VIP tickets include use of a private entrance, access to soundcheck, a limited edition poster, free appetizers, a private bar and a meet and greet with Marcinek. Only 200 GA tickets will be available. Find links to purchase below:
