Oceans Calling Festival, a new event set to take place in the beach town of Ocean City, MD from September 30th through October 2nd, 2022, has announced its inaugural artist lineup. The festival, co-founded by local heroes O.A.R. alongside C3 Presents, will feature three stages, culinary experiences hosted by renowned chefs, and all the amusement offered by Ocean City’s boardwalk atmosphere.
On Friday, September 30th, Dave Matthews & Tim Reynolds will lead a lineup catered toward jam and folk acts like Dirty Heads, O.A.R., Grouplove, Skip Marley, Noah Kahan, Toad the Wet Sprocket, Peach Pit, Johnnyswim, The New Respects, Mihali, and Virginia Coalition. The Saturday, October 1st lineup will feature a headlining performance by The Lumineers in addition to sets by indie and alternative favorites including Cage The Elephant, Logic, Young the Giant, Jimmy Eat World, Allen Stone, Larkin Poe, Wilderado, and Pup Punk.
Finally, Sunday, October 2nd at the first-ever Oceans Calling Festival will feature headliner Alanis Morissette as well as throwback favorites Cyndi Lauper and Sublime with Rome in addition to rising stars like St. Paul and the Broken Bones, Tai Verdes, Lawrence, Big Head Todd and the Monsters, and The Samples. The festival’s final day will also feature a special O.A.R. and Friends set featuring the host act alongside an array of talented musicians.
