The Midnight Ramble Band was the late Levon Helm’s longtime backing band. Members include Amy Helm, Larry Campbell, Teresa Williams, Jim Weider, Connor Kennedy, Tony Leone, Shawn Pelton, Brian Mitchell, Steven Bernstein, Jay Collins and Erik Lawrence.
The one-night event comes as part of the venue’s “Woodstock Anniversary Celebration” honoring the 53rd anniversary of the Woodstock Music and Art Fair as per Jambands.com. Phil Lesh played the original Woodstock festival with the Grateful Dead, while Levon Helm performed at the legendary event with The Band. Bethel Woods is located on the grounds that hosted Woodstock in 1969.
