Built To Spill closed out a two-night stand at Brooklyn Bowl in New York on Wednesday. Along with the ’90s indie rockers were openers Wetleg and Blood Lemon.
Wednesday’s show saw minimal setlist overlap with the Tuesday concert that proceeded it, with Built To Spill mining its eight album catalog for a career-spanning evening. The power trio led by Doug Martsch managed to squeeze a cover of The Halo Benders‘ “Virginia Reel Around The Foundation” into the 12-song performance, alongside originals “Distopian Dream Girl”, “I Would Hurt A Fly”, and “Else”.
Built To Spill was sure to include some of its most celebrated hits including “Pat” and “Carry The Zero”, which were both also performed on Tuesday. After closing out the set with “Goin’ Against Your Mind”, the band finished its Brooklyn Bowl stay with “You Were Right”.
