The Rolling Stones have announced the openers for the band’s two concerts at London’s historic Hyde Park will include Phoebe Bridgers, Christone Kingfish Ingram, Courtney Barnett, The War On Drugs, and more.
The shows will take place June 25th and July 3rd as part of The Rolling Stone’s 60th-anniversary tour. On June 25th, the rock n’ roll icons will be joined by The War On Drugs, Phoebe Bridges, Vista Kicks, JJ Row, and Kelly McGrath. The July 3rd show will feature support from Sam Fender, Courtney Barnett, Christone “Kingfish” Ingram, The Dinner Party, and The Flints.
Having lost original drummer Charlie Watts in August 2021, the Stones will perform with a lineup featuring Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Ronnie Wood, and drummer Steve Jordan, who has toured with the band in the past.
The Rolling Stones recently released a live album, Live At The El Mocambo, that features recordings of two legendary secret concerts performed at Toronto’s 300-capacity El Mocambo nightclub in 1977.
