The String Cheese Incident shared video featuring guitarist Bill Nershi and bassist Keith Moseley covering “Peggy-O” with Leftover Salmon multi-instrumentalist Jay Starling. The clip was filmed backstage at a SCI concert and comes before Cheese and LoS each perform at this weekend’s Revival Festival in Geneva, Minnesota.

Starling, who officially joined Leftover Salmon last week, plays dobro on “Peggy-O.” The traditional folk song was adapted by the Grateful Dead. Jerry Garcia sang “Peggy-O” with the Dead for 265 versions starting with its debut on December 10, 1973 in Charlotte. Garcia recorded the song as “Fennario” during the sessions that yielded his 1982 solo album, Run For The Roses.
