While Spafford has pulled out of their Saturday night slot at this weekend’s Mountain Music Festival “due to positive covid cases within (their) touring party,” Aqueous will perform an Aqueous & Friends set to fill the slot. Mountain Music Festival began on Wednesday and runs until tomorrow, Saturday, June 4 at ACE Adventure Resort in New River Gorge, West Virginia.
Aqueous will be joined by members of Big Something and Doom Flamingo for the Aqueous & Friends set. Cory Wong, Big Something, Doom Flamingo, Joslyn & The Sweet Compression and Ranford Almond are among other acts slated to perform at Mountain Music Festival on Saturday. Tickets are on sale now. “We’re sad to announce that we must cancel our set at Mountain Music Festival due to positive covid cases within our touring party,” wrote Spafford in an announcement on social feeds. “We’ve been looking forward to this one for a long time and hope to be back next year.”
