Gov’t Mule Shares ‘Black Horizon’ Remix

52

Gov’t Mule shared a remix of their song “Black Horizon” by Austn Space. The track originally appears on the rockers’ latest album, Heavy Load Blues, which came out on November 12, 2021.

The “Black Horizon” remix arrives as Mule is set to launch their summer tour tonight in frontman and guitarist Warren Haynes’ hometown of Asheville, North Carolina. Asheville is also the home of Austn Space, the production project of Warren’s nephew Austn Haynes.

“When we decided to do a collection of remixes for Heavy Load Blues, the first person I thought of was my nephew Austn,” Haynes stated. “We’ve been looking for projects to do together and this is right up his alley. Really takes the song to another dimension.”

Austn and Warren recently contributed to a cover of “Imagine” by Saint Disruption. The family members now continue their collaboration on the “Black Horizon” remix.
